Why this matters
Roughly half the workforce will go through menopause, and most HR policies have nothing to say about it. The result: valuable employees quietly struggle with symptoms that affect focus, sleep, mood, and confidence and managers are left without language, tools, or guidance for how to respond.
This session is for the people who hold those conversations, whether or not their organization has a formal policy yet.
What we'll cover
Why menopause belongs in workplace conversations and why it's been left out for so long
What the data tells us: findings from surveys with 32 women and in-depth interviews with 10, exploring real experiences of menopause at work
How it shows up at work: the symptoms and patterns managers are most likely to encounter
What meaningful support looks like: practical, low-cost approaches that don't require a policy overhaul first
Practical next steps: what HR and leadership can do this month, not someday
